Log-in Issues

Remote Desktop can’t connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons:

This issue could be realted to several things, but it’s most likely that your remote desktop shortcut is configured to use the wrong URL. The correct URL is gisterm.interdev.com. You may update the shortcut by following the below steps.

  1. Right-click the shortcut and click Properties.
  2. Click on the Shortcut tab.
  3. In the Target field, make sure the URL entered after /v: is gisterm.interdev.com

An authentication error has occured. The Local Security Authority cannot be contacted.

This issue is caused by an expired password. For security reasons, the GIS team cannot contact IT on your behalf. Instead, please reach out to InterDev IT directly at mosaicsupport@interdev.com or (678) 672 - 1550. If your issue is time sensitive, definitely contact IT by phone. They should be able to resolve the problem in less than five minutes.

ArcMap Issues

Missing Folder, Server, or Database Connection

This issue can occur for a variety of reasons, but most likely it is due to an upgrade to ArcGIS for Desktop. To resolve, follow the steps in this knowledge base article.
